Artwork Guidelines
- Send artwork actual size, 1-up.
- Maximum sheet size: 14.33" x 20.5".
- Bleed: 0.25" (0.125" min.) - if converting to PDF with bleed make sure to make include bleed.
- Graphics within 0.125" from the edge.
- Graphics must be a minimum of 300 dpi at final size.
- Include or outline/convert to curves all fonts. NOTE: If sending Freehand files you cannot outline fonts in linked text boxes. Please unlink all boxes for outlining fonts.
- Include or embed images.
- Include a pdf or jpg of the file for us to reference.
- Please send files in their native program (the program it was originally created in).
- If submitting a PDF to print from please make it a PRINT PDF or X1-A PDF. Save as LATEST version of Acrobat.
- We CANNOT USE files from the program Print Shop.
- Offset press capabilities are 2-color. All files sent to our press must be converted to PMS Spot Colors for color separation.
Proofing
For layout: proofs can be either soft (emailed) or hard copy (printouts).
For color: for 2-color offset press jobs we will match color to the pantone matching system(r) (pms) swatch book. we do not do press checks. for ditigal color we can print out a proof from the igen. note: digital colors are created with 4-color toners and will not always be exact.
The proof you approve is your responsibility. Once you approve, we print it, so please make sure it's correct.
